Mark has a Master's Degree in Social Work from Florida State University and a Bachelors Degree in Psychology from the University of Florida graduating "magna cum laude".  His hypnosis training was completed in Orlando Florida by the American Association of  Ethical Hypnosis.  Mark has over 30 years of healthcare experience working at first as a therapist, then clinical director, and eventually held the role as AVP of business development and physician relations for Shands Healthcare, the academic hospital with the University of Florida.   He was the team "doc"with the University of Florida baseball team, worked with the UF football team, professional tennis players, golfers, body builders on the mental aspects of the game.  He has done volunteer work in the VA hospital with cancer patients, assisted the police department with witness recall, worked with phobic dental patients and former instructor in Self Hypnosis with Santa Fe Community College.  He has attended hours of continuing education courses to include : cognitive behavioral work, gestalt, rogarian, group therapy, substance abuse treatments, stress and anxiety management, and depression workshops.  Mark provides a safe, caring, confidential and warm environment to tackle difficult issues and his joy is helping others heal, be inspired and motivated to accept and be the best self they can be. Mark's approach is client-centered care, and collaborative to achieve the outcomes his clients desire.
